Very good food produced by 2 guys that care about quality.
Cafe hidden away in a shop on Wheatsheaf walks which itself is off pedestrianised Burscough Street.
Currently a lunch time special of £4 for a main meal - which is stupendous value. - Linguine with fresh mussels and prawns was as good as any I have had before. Can sometimes be a wait for food as it is mostly cooked from scratch.
Definitely worth seeking out.

We are very regular customers at Source - both eating in andtake away - and have always found it absolutely first class. Super quality food, really interesting and varied choices, and welcoming atmosphere. We really appreciate everyone's efforts to make this excellent service.

It is rare to find people who are truly passionate about the food they sell, as opposed to being simply commercially savvy. The people at Source are such nice people and as a result the food is excellent, and the ambience genuine and refreshing.

We would recommend Source Deli, it is the centre of our culinary life in Ormskirk. A superb provider of locally sourced excellent quality diverse and seaonally reflective light bites, meals in deli, andhome focused take out food. Lovely people. We are so lucky to have Source in Ormskirk.

This has got to be the best place for coffee in Ormskirk. Brilliant breakfast and lunch menu. You will not want to leave - I always have to have two cups of coffee and stay at least an hour. Very friendly owners and staff and a lovely atmosphere. I tell all my friends to come here when they are in Ormskirk.

Source of much Awesome! This is a really nice little bistro/cafe/deli whatever you want to call it. The menu isn't huge, but they change it periodically, but the food is truly delicious. It's always cooked fresh, always incredibly well presented and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. They sell 'Stash' tea which is really nice, but I do wish they would start stocking 'Stash - Earl Grey with Double Bergamot'. The desserts are lovely... All in all it's a really nice place. I eat here regularly and it's not overly expensive, but what you do pay is definitely worth it. It's wonderful food in an unpretentious setting. Well worth a visit... Even more so if they get 'Stash - Earl Grey with Double Bergamot' !!!!

Androm I just can't think of anything negative to comment about Source, well ok the food doesn't arrive within seconds but when it does one sniff of the aromas wafting from the dish convince you that someone behind the scenes has just made this dish just for you. The place is small but yet intimate, the staff don't change with each new term at the uni, and the menu is second to none within Ormskirk. Go there it's wonderful.
